Well, then again, some of you may be disappointed. This weekend was a holiday weekend over here in the "States", and I didn't post anything about it until now. This wasn't a holiday weekend because of the election problems, but in honor of the folks that made it possible for us to have these types of elections in the first place. Saturday was Veterans Day over here..the day we are supposed to honor our military veterans for their services. The reason I didn't make a post before this weekend is because it seems every time I made one in the past, some folks would get to "Hootin' and Hollerin'" about this being a forum "of all nations", and get totally away from the issue that I had brought up to begin with---look back at my Memorial Day and 4th of July posts for a reference. Anyway, those that have met me or emailed back and forth with me, know that I were my pride on my body and in my attitude. Everyday is Memorial Day and Veterans Day to me, and I don't need the 4th of July to remind me of the day this country got it's "independence". All I have to do is turn on the World News and I get reminded. I also get reminded that our enjoyed freedoms could be taken away, or so it seems, at any moment. Live free, ride proud, and raise a little hell every now and then.
